John R. Thornby  bio info

born 1866 Onondaga county New york son of James and Catherine Thornby.
His father died in 1870.  His mother died in 1874.
In 1882 at the age of 16  John was on the Orphan Train and arrived in Hiawatha, Kansas
taken into the home of Judge B. F. Killey.
